Felix Schulyok Case Handler Case Handler , European Commission

Felix Schulyok has been Case Handler State Aid at DG Competition of the European Commission since 2013. Since 2016, he is working at the State aid Policy and Case support Unit. Previously, Felix Schulyok was dealing with State aid for infrastructure projects as well as with State aid for industrial restructuring. Before entering DG Competition, he worked as Assistant at the University of Copenhagen on European Constitutional Law.

From 2006 until 2018, László Szabó has been Head of Internal Control and Evaluation Unit at the Publications Office of the European Union. His most important tasks were to coordinate risk management, fraud prevention and detection and personal data protection as well as managing financial control and evaluation. He was also responsible for internal audit of the Office. Prior to this, László Szabó was managing controlling, finance and IT in different (mainly financial) companies as well as acting as lecturer in corporate finance, risk management, data management and controlling as well as International Financial Reporting Standards at the International Business School and other training establishments in Budapest.

Andreas Schmidt is Head of IT at the Office of the German Federal President. Prior to his current position, Andreas Schmidt worked as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the German Federal Ministry of Economics and En-ergy (BMWi) from 2011 to 2017. During this occupation he was responsible for the security of the digital radio of the BOS (Behörden und Organisationen mit Sicherheitsaufgaben: Pu-blic Institutions of High Security Significance) authorities, and was active as an IT Security Officer at the Federal Ministry of the Interior. As an ISO 27001 Auditor and IS Auditor, Andreas Schmidt also carries out audits and revisions, among others, according to the methodology of the IT baseline protection of the BSI (Grundschutz, Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Infor-mationstechnik), the German Federal Office for Information Security.

Francesca Siniscalchi, Deputy Head of Unit-Joint Research Centre (JRC) A4-Legal Affairs of the European Commission, has experienced three institutions, two geographical seats (LUX and BRX) and five Commission departments in more than 20 years. A lawyer by vocation, curriculum and training, she joined the JRC ten years ago. In her role, she gives and coordinates legal advice to JRC scientific services and management on R&D contracts, scientific arrangements and international agreements and nuclear industrial contracts.
